Dr Sharmin Kazi

Dr Sharmin Kazi is a fellow of Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), She completed her fellowship training specialising in Psychiatry at the Sydney West and Greater Southern (SWaGS) Psychiatry Training Network and obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

Dr Kazi has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has over 12 years of experience in Psychiatry. This breadth of experience has informed a deep understanding of how mental health impacts all aspects of life—from relationships and work to physical well-being. Dr Kazi believes in a compassionate, collaborative approach to care—one that honours each patient’s unique story and goals. Treatment plans may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both, tailored to meet your individual needs. She has worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and in various clinical environments, giving her a deep appreciation for how cultural perspectives influence mental health and treatment approaches.

Dr Kazi is committed to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore concerns, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change by providing thoughtful, evidence-based care to support your mental health journey.

Dr Kazi is an accredited college supervisor for the registrars training in psychiatry and involve in teaching medical students.
